Welcome to San Jose Rock Shop, Musical Instrument Rentals and More

We buy, sell and trade new and used musical instruments and offer full repair and custom services for acoustic and electric guitars, basses, amplifiers, keyboards, drums, other music accessories and gear. We have orchestra and band instrument rentals.  We service the musical instruments that we sell and rent, and we’re an authorized dealer and warranty repair shop for Roland & Boss.  You can shop and buy musical instruments online or come visit us at our store in downtown San Jose, located at 30 N. 3rd Street. We have plenty of FREE parking in the garage across the street with validation.

Instrument rental information

We also offer private music lessons for guitar (electric & acoustic), bass guitar, saxophone, clarinet, drums and percussion.

And…  we have a 1000 sf private club that hosts events for all-ages, designed to connect artists and performers with their fans in a new, intimate setting.
